About the Platform
Givon on Paper is an online platform for collecting rare artworks on paper. The website also serves as a resource for preservation, mapping, and cataloging artworks, which combines prominent contemporary artists and The Givon Art Collection – a renowned Israeli art collection, founded in the 1950s.
The website spans a broad timeline, offering works varying in price for both experienced and emerging collectors. Additionally, it functions as an online archive, allowing users to explore a wide spectrum of art and artists—from the early 20th century to the present day—and discover their historical and cultural value.
In addition to offering contemporary art on paper, the platform showcases works that have not been exhibited for decades, as well as pieces never before shown publicly. Like in a physical gallery, the displayed art changes over time. The site is constantly evolving, as more and more archival and historical pieces from the Givon Collection continue to be added, as well as new works by guest artists.
The platform operates on a time-based model, with artworks available for purchase during specified time windows, which will be announced in advance on our Instagram page and newsletter, to which we invite you to subscribe. Nevertheless, the majority of the Givon Collection will remain accessible for viewing.
