Givon Art Collection

In this category, you can explore works exclusively from the Givon Art Collection. In the 1950s, Shmuel Givon (1914-2000) and his wife Tamara Givon (1918-2004) began assembling a collection that gained recognition within the art community, and significantly influenced the identity and development of Israeli art. The collection, which started primarily with works on paper, led to the establishment of Givon Art Gallery in 1975. Following Shmuel Givon’s passing in 2000, the collection has been managed by his daughters, Noemi Givon and Nurit Wolf. Over time, additional works will be added:
